Joe Biden was impressive yesterday. It must have been so disconcerting for him, having to debate with someone who was just mouthing cliches. He did a splendid job by shredding Palin's cliches, and making sure that he projected himself really well and at the sametime not stooping down to her level.
One thing that really struck me was his talking about how he has conducted himself in the senate in the last decade. He said, and I am paraphrasing, that he has learnt to never question anyone's motivation, but he questions their judgement. That is so profound.
Barack Obama has displayed excellent taste by picking Joe Biden as his running mate.
