We weren't able to make any plans for the long weekend, but it ended up being one of the best un-planned long-weekends I have had.
The first day we took ourselves to the beach, and spent a few hours lazing in the sun. We bumped into some friends who said that later on in the evening they were heading to La Jolla Cove for the fireworks. We weren't planning on checking out any fireworks, well, b'coz we have never found them that special. But with want of better things to do, we decided to head to La Jolla Cove as well.
I have never seen such a spectactular display in my life. It was beautiful, and very very special for me.
